Flowers have brought joy to my life for as long as I can remember.
I would follow my father around our garden in Atlanta and he would patiently point out all the different plants, teaching me their names. As soon I was allowed to carry snips, I would head out to the garden to cut armloads of heirloom cabbage roses, azaleas, camelias and hellebores to fill the house with arrangements. There would hardly be blooms left outside! When we traveled I would delight myself with going into the fields to cut queen anne’s lace, wild blackberry brambles and whatever else I could find. I still remember the scent of the lilies that I bought from a street cart at the bottom of the Spanish Steps for my mother’s birthday —my first time purchasing flowers—and I was just ten years old. The happiness that they brought both of us was so powerful, and I hope to recreate that feeling with you.
I feel blessed to know what my passions are and to be able to share them with others. Whether you are looking for a gift for a loved one or florals for a special event, I hope to bring to you the same spark of joy that I get in creating your arrangements.
